Become a certified SSI Manta & Ray Ecology diver
Join the SSI Manta and Ray Ecology specialty program and you will learn how to dive with rays and recognize different ray species. You will be taught how rays contribute to healthy ocean ecosystems and why these precious animals need our protection.
Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Manta & Ray Ecology Specialty certification.

Prerequisites
If any in-water training is conducted, minimum requirements of
Scuba:
- Referral Diver
- 10 years old+
Snorkel
- 6 years old
- pass a swimming test

What do I need to get started?
Register online at DiveSSI.com and choose Lynnhaven Dive Center as your training center. Then come into the shop or call us to select and pay for your courses. Once payment is made we will unlock the specialty courses so the digital learning material can be completed. This is also when we can schedule when to come in for the classroom portion of your learning.
