Scuba Explorers

Adventure awaits this summer with our Scuba Explorers camp.
 
Join a global group of SSI Explorers this summer as you learn about the marvels of the underwater world. As part of your experience, you will learn all about aquatic ecosystems and our oceans as a Blue Oceans Explorer. Learn new skills and practice with new equipment with our experienced dive professionals. 
 
This is a week-long summer camp as an experience program through SSI Explorers, with a focus on Snorkeling, Ecology, Science of Diving, and of course Scuba Diving.  We invite family members to our graduation party at the end of camp to celebrate our accomplishments through this scuba diving program.  
 
Upon completion of camp, they will receive an experience recognition card.  For graduates of the Explorers camp, they’ll be able to advance their skills with enrollment of a Junior Open Water Diver course.
  • Our program is suited for kids aged 8-11. 
  • With this age group, we reduce ratios for quality in-water training.

EARN A JUNIOR

REFERRAL DIVER CERTIFICATION

Junior Referral Diver with Stephanie and Neil

  • Students must be 10-12 years old, 8:30am-1pm, Price: $549
  • Students will become Junior Referral Divers. This camp does not include check out dives.  These future check out dives will be scheduled with Stephanie and the dive shop. Once they complete their certification dives, they will become Junior Open Water Diver Certified, which will mature into an Open Water Diver once they turn 15 years old.

SCUBA SQUAD

AGES 12 AND UP

TWO WEEK CAMP 

EARN OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION

Scuba Squad Camp

  • Students must be 12+ years old
  • In order to reduce student ratios and better provide quality in-water training, Price: $749.00
  • This globally recognized SSI Open Water certification camp will give your child a SCUBA experience of a lifetime. Your student will experience classroom and pool practice sessions and open-water lake dives.
  • This camp is 2 weeks long, Monday-Friday. The first week is all at LDC. The second week, they go to Lake Phoenix Tuesday-Wednesday for their Open Water Dives. We can always use adult chaperones on these days, so please let us know if you are available to chaperone!
  • Your student will be a certified Open Water Diver after this camp. Their Junior Open Water Certification will mature into an Open Water Certification at 15 years old.
