Scuba Explorers

AGES 8-11

Students must be 8-11 years old, 8:30am-12pm, Mon-Fri, Price: $475.00
Teaches snorkel & SCUBA concepts via classroom & will practice both in our indoor heated pool
The SSI Explorers program is a hands-on SCUBA experience, encouraging children to interact directly, as well as virtually, with the marine environment These classroom and pool-based camps will have your explorers diving into the depths of SCUBA.
This camp is a recognition program. It does not result in a certification. Instead, they will climb the levels of Scuba Explorers & they will gain experience learning about their gear & using it in the pool. When they’re old enough, they’ll be ready for SCUBA Camp & to dive in the open water!

Students must be 10-12 years old, 8:30am-1pm, Price: $549
Students will become Junior Referral Divers. This camp does not include check out dives. These future check out dives will be scheduled with Stephanie and the dive shop. Once they complete their certification dives, they will become Junior Open Water Diver Certified, which will matur e into an Open Water Diver once they turn 15 years old.

This globally recognized SSI Open Water certification camp will give your child a SCUBA experience of a lifetime. Your student will experience classroom and pool practice sessions and open-water lake dives.
This camp is 2 weeks long, Monday-Friday. The first week is all at LDC. The second week, they go to Lake Phoenix Tuesday-Wednesday for their Open Water Dives. We can always use adult chaperones on these days, so please let us know if you are available to chaperone!
Your student will be a certified Open Water Diver after this camp. Their Junior Open Water Certification will mature into an Open Water Certification at 15 years old.
