Phil Bess started diving in 1987. I enjoy diving and teaching others how to dive to so they may experience the wonders of the ocean first hand.

I am currently, an SSI Assistant Instructor Trainer.

Advanced Open Water Specialties including: Stress and Rescue, Perfect Buoyancy, Boat Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox (40%), Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Navigation, Night and Limited Visibility, Science of Diving, Search and Recovery, Dry Suit Diving, Equipment Techniques,Underwater Photo and Video, Waves, Tides and Currents, SCUBA Skills Update (Refresher), Dive Guide (Professional), Dive Master (Professional), Assistant Instructor (Professional), American Red Cross First Aid and CPR

Fun fact: My Grandson’s favorite fish is the Pufferfish.
