Where We're Diving

Six miles off the coast of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula lies Cozumel, the “Island for the Swallows.” Barely 30 by 10 miles, this diminutive island has become a popular scuba diving destination. Cozumel has all the ingredients for a great dive getaway- friendly locals, good food, lively nightspots, towering coral formations, warm water, great underwater visibility, and white sandy beaches. Most dive sites are found within the boundaries of Cozumel Reefs National Marine Park, which protects much of the second-largest barrier reef system in the world, the Meso-American reef system. You will often see loggerheads, hawksbills, and green turtles.

From shallow sheltered shore dives to secluded, seldom visited, current-swept drift dives, there’s a dive in Cozumel for everyone!

(Due to activities in Playa Del Carmen and Cancun we will not be doing the Whale Shark Excursion this trip)

This trip occurs during the migration season of the Whale Sharks, and as an extra travel option, you can go snorkel the pristine blue waters with these majestic creatures. Also typically seen with them are mobula (manta) rays. At one time you can have as many as 30 whale sharks around you! A breathtaking experience you’d want to do over and over again!
