About WRECK DIVING
This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely scuba dive around wrecks and artificial reefs.
Academic
Many of the ocean’s best dive sites have artificial reefs, or wrecks that have sunk through the ages. This program gives you the skills and knowledge required to safely scuba dive above and around these underwater treasures. You will earn the SSI Wreck Diving certification after completing this program.
Required Equipment
- Wreck Reel
- Finger spool and SMB
- Your own Total Dive System is highly recommended to increase confidence and comfort in your diving
Prerequisites
- Must be at least 10 years old
- Must hold an Open Water certification card

- Specialty Equipment
- 2 Open Water dives are required for this certification, they are not included in the course price
What do I need to get started?
Register online at DiveSSI.com and choose Lynnhaven Dive Center as your training center. Then come into the shop or call us to select and pay for your courses. Once payment is made we will unlock the specialty courses so the online learning can be completed. This is also when we can schedule when to come in for the classroom portion of your learning.
