This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit.
Academic
This program provides the skills and concepts required to safely and comfortably dive while using a dry suit. You will learn the special requirements for dry suit diving, how to use your new equipment, the benefits of a dry suit, and how to deal with emergency situations that are unique to dry suit diving. You will earn the SSI Dry Suit Diving Specialty certification after completing this program.
Required Equipment
You must own or buy your own drysuit for this course. Lynnhaven Dive Center does not supply rental drysuits.
Prerequisites
Must be Open Water certified and at least 10 years old
What’s Included

- 6 Academic sessions with your instructor
- At least one pool session
- Digital Certification card
What’s Not Included
You must complete at least 2 Open Water dives to finish your certification. These are not included in the course price.
What do I need to get started?
Register online at DiveSSI.com and choose Lynnhaven Diver Center as your training center. Then call or come in to pay for your course, once payment is made we will unlock the online learning for you to complete before coming in for your classroom sessions. You can also schedule the classroom session at the time.
